Hi
Absolute novice here diving in as deep as I can
I set up my 2003 server with active directory. I had 3 PCs logging in fine...
I could ping using i.p. and name (shaftecdc)...
All PCs had a mapped drive that worked fine. They could all also [Start] - [Run] - [\\shaftecdc] and see what was on server...
After a bit of normal activity, I can't see the server or any files from any PC. I can't ping it either...
This is the bit I find a bit weird. I have two network cards in the server but I have it connected to my network on only one card. They are both set-up with identical IP info except for different address (10.0.0.111 & 10.0.0.110) and only one has the default gateway filled in because I was getting an error if I had it on both cards...
If I plug the cable into the other card, it will then work for a bit. Then I get the same problem...
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate hearing them...
Cheers
Luke
