I've found this forum to be very useful in just the past few days. My first simple question was answered very professionally. I have another simple question.

I am not familiar with Access programming. However, I have a fair amount of experience building Access queries, including some that use SQL commands.

So, what I'd like to know is, if I use a query to extract a subset of records from a table (based on assigned criteria)
-- Can I then create a NEW table comprised of only the subset of records identified by the query?

Thanks for your help, again.

Go to the design view of your query. On the buttons at the top, next to the Run button (!), click on the down arrow to the left of the ! . Then select MAKE TABLE. It'll ask are you sure, just click YES. It will look like nothing happened. Just close the query and go to your Table tab. There she'll be.
