Can the G3 look into other db's for info?>

Can the G# look into a different database, for example, a ODBC to colllect information to pass on to the display of a telephone set or a computer screen?
For example we have a CTI system that we use here. We have it hooked to an ISDN line. When an outside call comes through we can pass the digits just fine, but when the call is originated from the campus here the digits do not pass. Any ideas?
