Hello all,
I have several BES50FE-24T PWR, and BES50FE-12T PWR switches, but am not (no surprise here) doing any new BCM installs.

Can these switches be used as PoE switches to run Avaya PoE IP phones for IP Office telephones?

Thanks!

Sure can. I've reused a couple of those over the years and they work fine for a basic POE switch.

They are kinda cool but dont use them for single station/wire applications (Wall to Set to PC)

I have used them too. I did have a problem with Com Ed shutting power off a few times in the neighborhood and when the power came back on it fried the BES50, and it no longer had any internet connectivity. I would be sure the BES50 is on a UPS.
