Hi,

I have been allocating "Resource Name"'s to each of my subtasks, and now I would like to roll up the summary tasks, while seeing which resources are involved at the subtask level.

For example:
Summary Task / resource name: A,B,D,F
Subtask 1 / resource F
Subtask 2 / resource A
Subtask 3 / resource A and D
Subtask 4 / resource B

the point being that I'd like the resource name at the summary task level to be generated automatically. I have costs from subtasks summing automatically to the summary task level... now I just want to see at a quick glance who is involved in a given summary task. Can this be done? I will admit I am fairly new to MS Project, and could not find anything useful in MS help.

Thanks,
Ernst

Hello Ernst,

No, sorry -- not without some VBA code. You are correct, the summary task summarizes work from subtasks - but not resource names.
