Can someone help me write a if statement.

What I have is a report that has a textbox that the control source is =[emplno] which it pulls from my qurey. The employee number and I need the emplno number convert into the emplno name to show on the report The emplno name comes from a different table. Thanks Irene

I would do that in a query. Hopefully that table that has the name has the emplno as well, then all you have to do is link to that table by the emplno to get the name.
