A user connects remotely to a Citrix MetaFrame 4.0 server. The user just purchased an HP 1150 Laserjet printer and has it connected locally to their workstation. Hi,
I would use Citrix Print Driver Mapping. I have had success in mapping the HP Laserjet 1000 series of printers to the embedded HP 4000 series PCL 6 driver that ships with PS4.
As for why, In the past I have had real problems when installing the HP Laserjet 1000 series drivers on Citrix PS4 servers. The printing results have caused a massive increase in the number of calls logged.
