can someone explain walkaway time?
 
It is basically a subset of hold time. Agent puts the caller on hold. Agent "quick disconnects" headset to retrieve information. Agent returns to desk and reconnects headset. Agent takes caller off hold. The walkaway time is the time the headset was disconnected.

You must have the correct hardware (phone, headset) so that the switch can sense the quick disconnect. Very few call centers use this feature.
