Can somebody advise "how to add Search Capability" for my web site 1

Hi,

I have a website with several hyper linked pages. It is basically online documentation with html documents & gifs.

I wanted the readers of the online documentation to be able to search for phrases, text etc. Just to make it easy to get to information.

This is not a website which changes a lot. Stays fairly constant. Once in a while it there are some modifications to its content. This site only has 15 or so users at a time.

So can you recommend a free, robust sw to add Search Capbility to this web site ? How to do I go about setting up such a capability.
