Can ringing the attendant no answer be turned off?

In the part of our CCR tree in the (Home menu). We mention our options press 1 for accounting, press 2 technical support, etc.

If the caller DOES NOT select (press) an option the call rings at the attendants station with no answer. I have the AA turned off.

Is there anyway to turn this ringing off and have it go to the "exiting the system, goodbye" like it does in the second level of the tree?
 
If you go into Feature 982 - pswd : OPERATOR (67372867) and change the Attendant Available prompt to N -** this will cause 'no selection' calls to go to the general delivery mailbox (mbox 100)
I think if you also disable the general delivery mailbox - found in feature 983 then press 6 - then 'no selection' calls will exit the system

These settings can be changed, but they may affect other features in the voicemail such as:
Turning Attendant Available to N will not allow any outside caller to dial '0' after they hit a mailbox
General Delivery can be the receptions mailbox and is also a backup or last resort mailbox ie. a phone forwarded to a mailbox that has not been initialized will end up in Gen. Del.

So don't change them unless there is no use for them.
