I have seen a post about a 3rd party aplication that will let you schedule repoert to print at specified times. Does any one know what software this is or a way to print reports every day at the same time. I need to print 6 reports @ 7:00AM before the warehouse starts shipping.

Thanks
Ricardo

Well, I would simply have the database placed on an NT Server where an Event Scheduler item can be setup to open the database at 7:00am. Next, create an AutoExec macro that runs the report. You could also have an Event Scheduler on other Win O/S... htwh,

FMS makes a tool that will do this called 'Total Visual Agent'. See details at (Note - I am not affiliated with FMS in any way, so this is not an advertisement! Just passing along some info!)

If you are running Win 98 or better, you can do this right from your PC using Task Scheduler. I run one every day at 3 p.m. To do this, you need to set a Macro in your Database that points to what you need. My macro calls a Function that does various things, Prints the Report and then closes the Application. Here is the Task Scheduler info I use.

For the Run line I use

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE" "\\SCHOOLHOUSE\PhyPlant\Physical Plant 2002\PysPlant2002.mdb" /x:printMacro

You will need /x:printMacro at the end of the Command Line.
/x: is the switch you need to call the Macro. PrintMacro happens to be the name of my macro.
The rest is the path to Access and the path to my Database.

The Start In line is

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE"

just the path to the .exe file.
Then you just fill in the Time you want to run the Reports and it will do it as long as the PC is turned on.
