Can real time stats be lowered below 10 secs.

Under real time statistics I change my minimum refresh rate for real time displays to 6 sec from 10 sec. It is still refreshing at 10 secs. Can this be lowered below 10 secs? My agent refresh rate is 2 secs and it works OK.
