Can ping myself but not from remote PC

Hello,
I have a problem, I have static ip in a DSL service provider, I can ping my static ip from my computer but when I try to ping my static ip from a remote PC through Internet with the ping command it gives me a message '...timeout...'. In the static ip pc I have a router, I have not made any special configuration to the router, the dhcp is no.
