Can ping and randomly map

Hello,

Ive been having the same problem as a lot of people here were they can connect to the vpn and ping everything but the difference with my problem is that, sometimes i can map, but it happens very randomly so i never know when i can or cant map. When i cant map i also wouldnt be able to ping by name either.

Any help would be great.

oh i also forgot to mention,
when i cant map, its only to the server but i can ping other users by name and ip but i cant ping the server by name but i can ping the server by ip.

I find it wierd that only the server doesnt let me connect to it and only when i cant ping it by name. I hope that makes sense
