Hi, I've recently set up a wireless home network.
Everything's cool, internet access is shared and everyone's happy.
I've got 1 tiny problem.
I've got 2 pc's on the network:
Desktop - 192.168.2.3
Laptop (wireless) - 192.168.2.2

I can run from the desktop to the laptop, and after authenticating access what I want to. What I can't do, is even ping 192.168.2.3 from 192.168.2.2. I just get "Request Timed Out"

It worked at one point when I first set the network up as I was sharing my MP3's from the desktop pc but now it's stopped working.
I've made changes to the pc, but have been fiddling with the wireless router, enabling WPA-PSK etc.

Any ideas?

I'm out of them!

Thanks

Paul

Try disabling the firewall on the desktop - it looks like a firewall could be blocking things.

If the firewall is the problem you should reenable it and reconfigure it.
