Anyone know if there are any obscure commands which would allow me to determine what type of dterm is connected to a len on IPS and IVS via matworks or probably just MOC mode. I need to find the number of keys and can't just rely on how many are programmed in CMD 9000.

Not to my knowledge. Even if it is an 8 button phone, you can still program 16+ buttons.

The thing is it used to be possible on the SDS with enhanced mat if you did a config report it used to tell you if it was a 6 or a 16 on the end of the line. I dont actually know how enhanced mat determined this but NEC programmers tend not to totally get rid of things. So I wondered if there was a legacy command or a direct memory location I could interrogate.
