My company uses PCAnywhere to access a computer in another part of the country. Right now that machine has a public IP on a network that is open to the internet.

It is going to be moved to a private network, though, so I'm wondering how that works. The only connection options I see in PCAnywhere are IP address and computer name, but those obviously aren't going to do any good on a private network without a little more information.

What are the PCAnywhere connection options for machines behind NAT or a firewall?

You'll probably either need to:

establish a VPN connection with the private network

or

forward the needed port(s) from router to that computer

I'm not sure which port(s) are used by PCAnywhere but that info surely isn't hard to find...
