Friend just got a new G4 running OSX, her previous machine was a PC running windows 98. I was wondering if I would be able to slave the PC Fat32 formatted drive in the G4 and have OSX mount the drive and read the contents. If this has been done, what should I look out for as possible errors?

Thanks!

in my limited experince, (with the classic Mac OS) a Mac can read a scsi disk made by a PC, but not a IDE disk made by a PC I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Found out MAC OSX can read PC formatted FAT32 IDE drives, OS9 can't.

Just thought to update.

Thanks for the help though jim!
