Can OPENDATASOURCE accept variables?

Greetings,

Is it possible to use OPENDATASOURCE with variables?

Something along the lines of ...

declare @strProvider varchar(100), @strParams varchar(100)

select *
from opendatasource( @strProvider, @strParams )..<file name>

Any ideas? Thanks for your help

From BOL: OPENDATASOURCE does not accept variables for its arguments.

I decided to use the OPENDATASOUCE cammonad to access and update the dBASE files.
