Can Only Use IE 6 Once To Connect

My question is now that I have bought a Netgear ADSL Router (DG834G - 54 Mbps Wireless ADSL Firewall Router) about 3 months ago.
All was fine until last week, but now I have noticed that if I try and connect to the internet via IE 6 once I have already been connected that I keep getting Server Not Found page.

e.g. Boot-up connect - all OK and close IE 6, if then run up IE 6 again I get Server Not Found.

How do I re-connect without having to re-booting the PC.

Note the Network Icon is display on the tray and shows connected; is this some setting in IE 6 in error?

Did your ISP change something? Maybe they're checking the MAC address & found out that it's a router & you're not supposed to have one. Have you cloned the MAC address of your computer's network card to the WAN interface of the router?

I am allowed a router as I rang them support. They said fault on line, but now cleared.

One other thing, my daughter has a wireless laptop, would that cause a problem?

Note still able to access the internet, but only after a re-boot.

If she has a wireless laptop is she haveing the same problem , if not then it's not the router .
