Can only connect to citrix once

I have a citrix metaframe 1.8 server on Windows 2000. I have a DSL line running to it and have successfully connected to the server from a remote location. Once. After that, I receive the message "Network or dial-up problems are preventing communication with the Citrix Server. An attempt to automatically restore the connection will begin after a delay to let the network recover..." after it initializes the connection. I am able to see the published app each time though. I have also tried an ICA custom connection with the same error. I have had tried this on several different PCs with all different OS's (Windows 98, 2000, XP) and versions of the ICA client as well with the same result: One successful connection, then receieve the same error. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would occur?

Try to see if there is a message in the event viewer. I have had the same trouble, and there was a error code in the event log. I could seach for the error at microsoft, and found a solution. They got a hotfix for the problem. If it is the same problem

I had this exact problem. Turns out it was the new citrix client off the citrix website. Try using the client on the 1.8 cd.
