- EDUP 802.11g Wireless LAN USB Adapter
- Netgear dg834g
- XP pro SP2
- Ie7

2 main problems:

a) Can only get adapter to work in unsecured mode
b) Cannot get it to work on commuter for which
intended (briefly connects as computer loads then
disconnects irretrievably and lifting firewall
makes no difference)

Tried:

- installing with EDUP software
- uninstalling software, adaptor and reinstall with
drivers only using hardware wizard
- use wireless wizard to create secure connection
(both automatically and then manually)

Would appreciate help with:

a) clean uninstall of adaptor on “intended” computer –
currently listing wireless network connection 4”
b) step-by-step account on how to set up a secure connection

Any help would be most welcome.

Many thanks,
