Hy colleagues,

is it possible to delete the old expanded supportpackfiles of previous supportpacks of Netware 5? I went from SP4 to 5 and I´d like to save the 400 MB. But I´m not shure, if Netware uses these files directly or just copies those it needs to somewhereelse into the filesystem, while actually installing the SP.

Thank you for your help in advance

If you chose the "Backup Old Files" option when installing the Service Pack, the old files will be stored in SYS:SYSTEM\BACKSP5 (or something like that). If you are sure you will not have to revert to the older Service Pack, you can remove the directory if you wish BUT beware, there is no going back to the older Service Pack once this is done.

If you are talking about the files that you used to install the Service Pack, they can go as they are no longer required. -----------------------------------------------------

Thank you for the really fast response !

Backupfiles sys:system\backsp5 is correct - I knew. I just meant the output of nw51sp5.exe which creates all the subdirectories like Drivers, Install, Jre ... with all its contents - which should no longer be required.
