Installed norton systems works 2000 and all went well. Turned pc on next day and an error message with blue screen came up saying can not write to c: drive, press any key to continue. After a few trys windows 98 boots up, but every time I try to add to the hard drive the same message comes up. I uninstalled system works but the same thing happens. Can you help??

You could try restoring an old copy of your registry. Get to a dos prompt and type "scanreg /restore". Find a copy that is from before the date you installed systemworks and reboot. Good luck.

Also, check the 'symantec'registry entries have all gone after uninstalling System Works .. often some are left behind and cause problems.
