Can not view email attachement

I recently had my comupter upgraded and now my lotus notes 6.5 version does not view any picture attachements. Before I was able to open up an email and see a picture/update, but now I get a blank square box with a "x" in the top corner. How can I enable this so I can see the picture again?

Is this for html mail, or does it do so for regular Notes messages with images included in the mail ?
Do you have free access to the Internet from that PC ? Generally, Notes puts a blank box when it cannot access the resource being requested.
