I have a scanner with USB connection. When the installation wizard installs it only allows prots Com1, Com2 and LPT1 or options; no USB options. How can I manually assign this scanner to the USB port?

Thanks,

I'd try the vendors web site or give 'em a call. Sounds like the software is not W2K compliant.

In setting up my USB scanner I discovered that Windows 2000 does not default to enabling USB in the BIOS. Once I went into the BIOS and enabled USB, everything worked fine.
