Can not set up Syncronization

I am using Act! by Sage Premium for Workgroups 2007 (9.0) (EX Edition) Ver. 9.0.0.175.

I am tring to setup synchronization and I need to create a remote database by going to the control panel and clicking "Create Remote Database." But when I do, I get the error message. "Unable to retrieve all sync sets. Invalid Column name 'ISDEVICESYNCSET'."

What is my next step?
