Recently IIS crashed and I had to reinstall it. All the webs remained in tact and could still be accessed from the internet. The problem came when I needed to edit the pages, I tried to connect to them using Visual Interdev, it did not show any webs to connect to on the server. I tried making the webs virtual, no help. I can create new webs and then see them with no problem. What would be causing the old webs not to show up in the list of webs using Interdev?? [sig][/sig]

I just had something a little similar happen to me. I kept getting an http error when I tried to open the asp pages to edit in Interdev.

I can open them now, in the IIS manager I did a check on the server extensions (I am on win 2000) and that at least let me open the webs.

I don't know if doing the check on server extensions will help you solve your problem, it partially solved mine. But only partially.

I now have the problem that the CursorLocation line in the runtime text for all my recordsets is not working. [sig]<p>Crystal<br><a href=mailto:crystals@genesis.sk.ca>crystals@genesis.sk.ca</a><br><a href= > </a><br>--------------------------------------------------<br>

Just a guess, as I have never experienced this problem. Could it be to do with the webs not being set up as web applications?

Apologies in advance if I'm talking rubbish... :) [sig]<p> Jonathan<br><a href=mailto:j.w.george@virginnet.co.uk>j.w.george@virginnet.co.uk</a><br><a href= > </a><br>Working against: Visual Basic 6, Access 97, Visual Interdev 6, VBScript, Active Server Pages, SQL Server 6.5, Oracle 7[/sig]
