Hi, my Dell Precision WorkStation 420 had been working fine until I took the system battery and put it back on. Afer I did put it back on and rebootedhe system no longer sees the ADAPTEC card nor the SCSI stuff/ I took the card out and re-seat it but no luck. did go to he CMOS and checked for IRQ re-assignment and tried to coose 11, 10, 9 but no lck.
Does anybody have any idea what happened here?

Thank You

Disconnect all drives from the SCSI card, start in Safe mode, uninstall the SCSI card's software, remove all SCSI cards from Device Manager, restart normally, let Windows recognize the card, reinstall its drivers, and reconnect the drives.
