Can Not Run Manual Update for Folders - Automatic Works Fine 1

This is on a PC that is running Notes Client 6.5, on Windows XP. From Actions, I am trying to run "Update Folder Design" manually....automatic works fine. It does not matter which folder I pick, after I start the upgrade, I get "Field is too large (32K) or View's column & selection formulas are too large". How can I fix this? The user has around 700 folders, and they are nested. Is this too many folders for Notes to handle?

Yes it's a problem caused by too many folders

If possible, upgrade to a newer version of Notes, as this 6.5 is almost 8 years old. (but then XP is even older)


Latest version is Notes 8.5.2 (8.5.3 due soon)
