I 'm having trouble installing an application on an NT workstation. I can load it on three other PC's but not the one I need. I keep getting the message "Can not run application on NT workstation." "Will not run 16 bit application."

Do the other PC's are NT also? Check out under which OS the application will run S. van Els

It's possible that this one machine the Win16 subsystem has been removed or disabled. Search your C: drive for WOW*.* and you should get 2 hits. Wowexec.exe is the Win16 on Win32 executor that makes 16 bit apps run on NT. If wowexec.exe is not there, 16-bit apps won't run...

Make sure you install on the system logged as as a local administrator.
You may also want to configure the program to run in a seperate memory space.
