Can not restrict ext149 on merlin legend

I go thru what is ask and put into the menu on the console. It seems to accept it all. I go to my single line phone and damn if i can still dial out!!!

WHAT THE HELL???

Stupid question but are you sure you are restrticting the right extension number.

Let's do a PRINT of Ext 149 & post it here and let us try to solve this mistery.

Larry: I don't know what you did to restrict the phone - but the programming steps are simple. Press menu, system programming, start, extensions, restriction, enter extension number, and choose outward restrict, enter - and then exit out of programming - that's it. If you did not follow these steps - then you did it incorrectly.

by "dial out" do you mean outside the switch, or not dial another extension?
