Can not record into announcement board due to this problem

Hi everyone
I have a question. Do you know why this happen ? In announcement board , i have dailed announcement access code then dailed announcement extension number then i have heard acceptance tone and dial tone, so i can not record new announcement . I have thougth that reason of this problem is to all announcement board ports are full and there have to be a free port on this board to record . Is this right ; otherwise, is there any other problem ?

type 'list integrated' and see if you have enough available time. could also be the announcement is protected..

Have you checked that there is sufficient time left on the announcement board, although there may be spare ports for messages it will depend on the length of time already allocated to the existing messages.

Also check that the station from which you are trying to record has console permissions assigned in its class of service. Hope this helps

After the acceptance tone and dialtone, you need to press 1 to record. -CL

i know all of these , but it didn`t work . There was enough space in announcement board. The station which i tried to record has console permisson and announcement is not protected . Thanks for your helps .

You could put a screen-cap of your announcements-page up here. Should be pretty basic, but you knever know; maybe we missed something...

One thing I would try, List Integrated ann and see if you can find one that your not using or can be re-recorded, delete it and then retranslate it, then try to record it. If you can't find one that you can sacrifice for testing then try testing the board.

One other thing that could be happening, is that when you delete announcement trough the cha announcement screen, rather then trough you'r "option 3" via the phone, you will
create a batch of corrupt memory, the board does not realease.
If you do this a lot, you will end up with a board that has no usable memory left.
I'm not sure if this would show as used memory, or unused memory on the 'list integrated'.
If this is the case the only thing that can help you is a complete board erase.
