Can not recieve message from cc:Mail

Hi.

I hope that there is some help for this problem, as it bugs me, and also many of my users. This error message appears several times a week, and I am not able to solve this myself.

I am using cc:Mail on Outlook2000.

Can you try to use the cc:Mail client to access the mailbox?

If they're available, try using the cc:Mail export tool to export the mailbox, see if that's successful.

It sounds like there's something specific about a message that the outlook client just can't handle. I'm not sure with the Outlook client, but I know with the release 8 client of cc:Mail, if you had an attachment on a message with the name of the attachment being longer than 35 characters, that it would crash the cc:Mail client. You could log in with a release 6 client, as it would automatically shorten the attachment name to an 8.3 file name. I would almost think this is the case as in the above error message it only lists the attachment as filename.ext.
