Hi!

I am very new to Exchange 2003. I have recently set up an exchange server. I can send and recive emails ok on the internal network. I can send emails to any users on the the internet. But I can not recieve emails from the internet (Although I can recieve from a remote location if the email account has been setup using all of my new domain settings. So I know that the exchange box is able to recieve accross the internet).
I can ping and telnet into my exchange box from anywhere on the internet, no problems.
I have tried just about everything I can think of.
I hope this all makes sense to you.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a DNS problem.

Get with your ISP (or whoever manages your domain name).
Check your public DNS records, make sure the MX record points to the correct IP address.

This is a problem with your external MX record. Senders must be able to resolve an MX record with your domain to route mail to your mail server. Try this from a command prompt: nslookup -q=mx yourdomain.com
Replace yourdomain.com with your domain name. It should return the MX record along with it's servername and IP. Without this record in your external DNS internet users cannot route mail to you.
