Can Not Preview / Design / Creat New Reports!!

I have Access 2000 on Win 2000. I can not seem to preview/design existing reports or creat new ones. When I try to preview/design a report the cursor turns into the hourglass for a couple of seconds and then nothing. Access doesn't lock or crash and the forms, tables etc are fine.

This is a recent occurance.

Compact and repair or rebooting make no difference.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Make sure you have a printer setup as the default (in the Printers on the Control Panel).

Thanks - that sorted it. I did have a default printer but on a network and the network cable was unplugged.
