Can not ping server

I have a vpn server w/ rras setup using DHCP (for vpn) on a win2k server connected to the internet thru a Flowpoint 2200 router at our main office. The server and all workstations at that have static ip's
When I connect from a remote PC using a dial up to an isp(dynamic ip) and vpn client I can ping my server. But when I connect from our remote office lan win2k pro and flowpoint 2200(static ip on lan DHCP for vpn) I can not ping the main office server but I do see it in my networks and can map the drive problem is our app needs to see the server ip.
I could use any help i can get
