Hi, I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if it is a bug but, I can not seem to parse a SQL querie in the DTS Wizard. I get the following message. "Unexpected Error occured. The provider has returned an Error result without an Error message". Now the wierd thing is that the same SQL do parse in the Query Analyser. Can anyone maybe help with a suggestion or two. Thanks :)

Hi,

Without seeing the statement causing the issue, I'm not sure the exact reason... But, I can tell you that I've sometimes made temporary views around complicated SELECT queries, for use in exporting the data.

Wrapping the SQL in a view sometimes allows the DTS Export wizard to parse without choking.
