Can Not Open tif in Outlook 1

Could someone please assist in helping me fix the problem associated with the following error message.

"can't create file : image.tif. right click the folder you want to create the file in and then click properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder"

I have one user who is unable to open his .tif attachments.

Do you have a file association set up for TIF's? Fax and Imaging?

Any ideas on this issue with opening tif's?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled office.
I've tried to set the file association to 3 different types of viewer programs and still no luck.
This is one of many users at my company all set up identically and he is the only on ewith the problem.
Virus and Spyware checks are all fine.

The PC is perched on the ledge any help before I push?

Delete the contects of the OLK folder in c:\documents and settings\%username%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files. This is Outlook's temp folder for attachments. When Outlook opens an attachment that has the same name as an attachment that it has previously opened it appends it with a number. When it reaches 99 it gives you that message and stops you from opening any further attachments with the same name.

Thank You I had already reinstalled Outlook and thus it was working. But since we have a copier which scans to email with the same file name each time I can see this happening again and will certainly take advantage of your answer.
