Can not open MS office files.Can not install new Antivirus.

Dear All,
virus disabled my "Norton Antivirus". if i open MS office files message display "Please wait while windows configures Norton Antivirus" and it is not opening the file.

if i tried to install any other antivirus program. it is not allowed to run its sevice.

so dear i can not open any Msoffice file and can not install antivirus.

how i can install new antivirus and how i can disabale this message to open the file?

Doesn't sound like a virus so far, rather like some simple file corruption or a dll clash or...

Surely, you can neither install/deinstall AV because the Norton AV service loads into memory on system startup, hence blocking all attempts.

Start your system in Safe mode (you can choose this option by pressing F8 during startup), this will prevent norton auto-starting.
Then you should be able to de-install norton av.
After re-booting you should then also be able to do a clean norton AV re-install.

P.S: Just in case you do have a virus, a HJT log would be helpful.

norton does not allow removal in safe mode.

That will allow you to remove it. Also do post a hijackthis log like makeitso mentioned.
