Can not open ConsoleOne

I've installed Netware 6 Small Business Suite in a test LAN. One server and one workstation to test Zenworks for desktops 3.2. After installing Netware and then the NW client on the WS, I get an "ConsoleOne caused an invalid page fault in fontmanager.dll" when starting ConsoleOne. I tried installing the latest ConsoleOne 1.3.3 locally on the workstation but get the same message. I was able to install ZFD to the server but can not configure because I can't start ConsoleOne.
This is a Eval version of NetWare SBS 6 but but fully functional.

Any suggestions ???? Thank you, LF

Hi LF -

If you look to where you installed ConsoleOne, do you see fontmanager.dll? By default, it should be located in:

\ConsoleOne\1.2\jre\bin

If not there, you may try to search for the file, or retry the install.

The .dll is there. I have already reinstalled. I also installed to my local c:\ and still receive the error.

Any other suggestions???

Try the consoleone service pack. I don't know if it'll help, but that is the next thing Novell support would have you try.

Also, try a different workstation. An uninstall bay not have gotten rid os the offending piece of the puzzle.

If you still have issues after Beaghler's suggestion, you may want to see if there is a ZEN service pack too.

I noticed the last ZEN for Desktops overwrites the fontmanager.dll with the following stamp:
FONTMANAGER.DLL 363520 4-18-2000 12:37:12 pm

After looking at my fontmanager.dll, here's my stamp:
FONTMANAGER.DLL 237 KB 10-1-2001 4:08 am

Perhaps for some reason, your version didn't upgrade? Or, updated with an older version.

Tried both version of fontmanager.dll dated 8-1-01 and 10-1-01 to no avail. Don't have another workstation to try it on at the moment and don't want to inatll ZFD components on one of my workstations on the live network. Am downloading SP2 for NW 6. 234MB might be a few minutes...............
