Can not move buttons labels or tabs

I am altering the form layout of an app a friend has been working on. Howver when I am in design mode I can not move or resize any of the command buttons or labels.


HELP ASAP

Need simple instructions.

your controls are locked. On the format menu, make sure "lock controls" is not enabled.

also, if your form/control isn't locked perhaps you have Visual Source Safe'd the project and not checked out the project/form - (identified by a small padlock at the left side of the form name in the project tab.

Right click on the form and click on clip controls
Now you would be able to move the controls
