Can not log on.

Trying to get into the checkpoint firewall 4.1 on the LAN side. Log in states that the following: System Status, no response from the server. After pressing the OK button, a second windows appears saying the I could not connect to the server.

I have the username, Password and an IP Address for the "Management Server".

I am attempting to log on locally to the server that CP is installed on.

I have verified that the services are running.

Any thoughts would greatly be apprcieated.

Hi,

Are you at the Management station trying to login or are you at a GUI?

If your at a GUI, was that IP listed as allowed?

Have you gone in with cpconfig and configured the PC you're using as a management client? If you're using the gui client. What OS is it NT/2000, IPSO, Unix?
