I have a 2nd Citrix server in domain, that was taken off to be used as an emergency if 1st server failed. the trouble is now I can not log on to this machine even as a local logon.the last administrator may have put a different password on it. is there any way to log on to this Server? it is running Windows 2000 server ,Terminal Server with Citrix metaframe 1.8. Any help would be appreciated.

Can you log on to it as Domain Administrator?

I would recommend having a "backdoor" Citrix admin account, generally instead of the default local admin account on every Citrix box.

I hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

If the domain admin account doesn't work the only other way is to crack it. Locksmith from Wininternals works great.

I am at the moment just trying to log on to the server as a local machine, it is disconnected from network ( connection to the network would not let me in) just to check it out.
