I have just installed CM 5.1 on an S8400 in a G650 chasis and now I get access denied when I try to log in to the SAT on port 5022 with the craft login so I can not add the sipi information to CM. I can login to the web page fine. I have installed the license file but not the authentiction file and still can not get in. Can anyone assisty me as I think this is a new thing in CM 5?

You first have to ad a dadmin account and then then install the authentication file.
After that login with the dadmin account..

Some time,s when it asks for the pin you have to install the licence file again.

once you install the license file and authentication file, the "craft" login becomes "ASG challenged" and can no longer be used.

I hope you added "dadmin" and some other administrator logins before you installed the license & password files.

Also, make sure you checked of "Enable DADMIN login?" in RFA, when you build the license, otherwise DADMIN can't be used.

you may want to web into server and check "server access" it is under the security section

make sure port 5023 is enabled

In case you do have acces to the web interface, there is a item somewhere (forgot what it is called) that lists the users.
List the users and see if the useraccount is there.
If it is open the user account and make sure it has profile 18 or up, and is assigned to any groups.
Otherwise create one, which is what you'd normally do anyway to create an end-user account..

The commands for showing the user accounts at the web page are under Security, Login Reports.

You can then use Administrator Accounts to either change passwords or create a new account. Make sure the group is "susers", the additional group is "prof18". You'll also want password authentication and all the other password fields set so you can actually log in.

I remember something about the craft login not being prof18 after loading the password file. prof3 maybe?

Anyway, yes, a lot changed with CM 5.
