I have a laptop which is part of a domain and I can not log in. I have tried logging in locally and to the domain with no luck. It gets stuck where it says "applying computer settings". After a while it will either reboot or go back to where you press CTRL+ALT+DEL to log in.

I can log in locally in safe mode. I did a scan but found no viruses and nothing abnormal.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I am experiancing the same issue with a machine after applying the MS critical update KB835732 (This is the "Sasser" patch). Microsoft has confirmed this to be an issue (Article number KB841382) with Windows 2000 PCs that meet certain other criteria.
