I updated a 3750 a few months ago with no problem. I went from 12.2.35 to 12.2.52. Now that I am trying it again it does not work.
I enabled a tftp serrver and downloaded c3750me-i5-mz.122-52.SE.bin to the system. I rebooted it and it loaded the old version. I then deleted the old version, BIG MISTAKE, I know, and the new version did not load.
To make a long story short I got stuck in boot help after trying find ROMMON mode, and maaged to get the new version loaded with xmodem. It showed that it had the new version but it would not reboot with it.
After loading the new software thru xmodem a second time, I set up to reload it through tftp. It looked like it loaded the full version but sh flash showed it as being WAY too small. The switch also says that the config file is too large.
How do I fix this? I want to get the 12.2.52 loaded into flash and have that as the IOS boot file which loads then goes to the config file like it should. Below is a copy of the last messages I got after loading it from the tftp software on my PC.
