can not excess to internet explorer

Windows cannot find winsvrc.exe.
This program is neede for opening files of type 'Application'.

Location of winsvrc.exe:
c:
This shows up every time when iI want to connect my internet .Please help!
 
UNinstall IE then re-install. If in doubt get the Ball Pein Hammer out

Thought you were going to do it Craig. I've been doing some Win95.MTX removals.
Also look to Symantec.com, Symanntec Anti-Virus group, Virus encyclopedia.
Requires two register changes, one register deletion, and one file deletion.
But those are dependent on the system in use so this isn't the place to start naming names.
There is also a fix tool available at several of the sites Alt255 mentioned.
And I suspect that Comtech and ray436 will weigh in shortly with more info. Ed Fair
