We are using Symantec 2004 Corporate Anti Virus. Yesterday morning, upon booting up one of the PC's in the office, we noticed that the The Auto Protect on that PC stopped working and is disabled. The check box in checked in the configure screen, but we can not get the Auto Protect to enable.

We ran Counter Spy and removed adware, spyware and a few trojans, and the Virus scan also found and removed a trojan.

We have deleted and re-installed the Anti virus software and it will still not work.

I don't want to have to wipe the drive and start over.

Any suggestions?
