I have a problem with Outlook XP connecting to Mercury 3.32. I use pop3 from 2 machines (work and home) to check the same account. When I get mail from home with "leave mail on server" checked and then get mail from work, the mail I got at home is not available. I used a webmail interface to verify that the mail in question is still on the server and that it is flagged unread. Is there another flag that Mercury uses other than 'read' to determine what mail is available.

Thanks,
Jack

Hello.
You can leave the message on server when you check your account using e.g. outlook. To make this message available from other location (different computer) you have to modify mercury.ini file. In the section MercuryP of this file you have to add the following line:
Mark_read : 0
Without this parameter, when you set up your mail client to "leave message on server" mercury rename the files with the messages ( e.g. Y65535.CMN to !67654.CMN - which means this message is read ). With Mark_read:0 parameter the name of this file remain the same and it is available for reading from other computer.
